End of Season Party 2011
Party on down!
Our End-of-Season Party went with it’s usual swing at St Michael’s Parish Centre in November.
Main courses catered by Will Davidson Catering, who has previously provided dishes for some of our away weekends, were supplement by side dishes and puddings provided by guests. Stacks of clean plates demonstrated that guests fully appreciated the food, so thanks to all those who contributed.
Dee’s Frost, Ice and Snow quiz was less than seasonal as we were in an unexpectedly mild spell at the time, but still managed to get everyone warmed up. It also confirmed Ray’s reputation as the ‘clever clogs’ of SAR as he led his table to victory by a modest half a point.
Mike made the usual round of thank-yous and closed the evening by presenting the cetrificates to those who had completed our 20th Anniversary circuit of the Capital Ring in 2010.
We’d particularly like your view on catering part of the food in, as against doing everything by volunteers.
